Introduction to Brief
Our brief was to create a public area in a site adjacent to Brayford Pool Harbour. For my design, I decided to create a place where all of the different processes in the food cycle (from growing to selling and eating) takes place.
This is in response to the food crisis that was taking place (and is still going on) after the COVID pandemic hit, with need for foodbanks doubling. The growing process was also to promote the use of urban agriculture in Lincoln and in response to a government program requesting more green spaces.
